About Support and Upgrade Subscriptions

A 12 month "Support and Upgrades" Subscription is included with every license purchase.

Subscriptions run for 12 month periods from the date of your purchase, and entitle users to priority email support and any new major versions of the application that are released (2.0 to 3.0, 3.0 to 4.0, etc.) during the Subscription period at no additional cost. Thus, for as long as you maintain a valid Subscription, you will not need to purchase new versions of Sighthound Video.

Sighthound licenses are perpetual. That means that a purchased license will work indefinitely with the major version series (2.X, 3.X etc) of the application you purchased it for. That version will continue to run regardless of whether you purchase Support and Upgrades Subscription renewals.

After the first year, Subscriptions are optional. Users who choose not to renew a Subscription may still take advantage of free forum support. Bug fixes and minor version releases are also issued at no cost.

Subscriptions must run concurrently, renewing on the anniversary of the date of your purchase. If you do not renew your Subscription on time and subsequently choose to do so, you will have to pay back to the time your last paid Subscription expired.

The cost of a one year Subscription is $12 for Basic and $50 for Pro.

The application will notify you when your Subscription is about to expire.

Renewing Your Subscription

Click the Renew button in Sighthound Video or log in to your Sighthound Account and click the Renew button from there.

Any licenses with an upcoming support expiration will have a Renew Soon button

Click Renew Soon and you will be directed to PayPal to complete the transaction

When you complete the transaction you will return to the store with an updated support expiration date
