Salary Ranges

Sighthound’s hiring philosophy is to work with creative, passionate problem solvers that fit in well within our culture, have a strong ownership for results and a healthy obsession with customers.

Job postings can be filled through a combination of folks looking to build their skills alongside existing experienced team members, deepen their expertise with further challenges in a new type of role, and bring in seasoned experts who can hit the ground running. Besides breadth of experience, we also pride ourselves on finding a good match with applicants' life scenarios.  Whether you are looking at going back to school, working remotely from a different time zone or working part time, we want to find a good match. In addition to competitive salaries, all positions at Sighthound offer the above benefits like stock options, health insurance, flexible work location and employee spending wallets for wellness, education & training and other perks.

All of this means that salary, while an important part of the hiring process, is difficult to set to a specific range for any job postings and the scenarios described above determine a lot about the ultimate salary used in your offer letter.  Here are some example regarding salary ranges:

  • $250,000 per year:  I can and have done everything on this job post and a lot more, including a lot of stuff you don’t even know you need right now.  Here’s a list of the previous companies I’ve founded and the number of successful exits I’ve been a significant part of.  I’m less interested in equity and benefits and I’m all about the Benjamins.

  • $25,000 per year:  I haven’t hit most of the qualifications of the job post but I’m excited about the opportunity.  I’d like to prioritize benefits and equity ownership, and I’m willing to take a lower salary for the meaningful and valuable experience I will gain in this position.

  • Somewhere in the middle: Most applicants will fall somewhere in between these two extremes. Please discuss with Sighthound HR representatives early in your application process.

We are always looking for talented people

Even if you don’t see a specific job opening, but you are still interested in working with us, send your resume or CV to jobs@sighthound.com
