Intel Launches Intel® NUC Smart Digital Security & Surveillance Solution using Sighthound’s AI Software

Intel DSS solution based on Intel® NUC and Sighthound Video software also available as a pre-configured bundle with Vivotek fixed dome network cameras and Vivotek switch.

Palo Alto, California - February 14, 2017 - Sighthound, Inc. today announced that Sighthound Video, its state-of-the-art AI surveillance software for homes and businesses, is now available as part of the Intel DSS solution through Intel® Technology Providers worldwide.Sighthound Video allows the Intel NUC to monitor a home or business and look for people. The software minimizes false alerts caused by events that would otherwise fool conventional motion-based detection software.

Intel’s Smart DSS solution uses the small but powerful Intel NUC, with 6th Generation Intel® Core™ i5 processor and Intel® Solid State Drive (SSD), with Sighthound Video pre-installed.
