Big Sur Update - We’re making progress

* If you rely on Mac for your security needs, we strongly suggest not upgrading to Big Sur and verify that your Mac does not automatically update.

Big Sur Update

Thank you for your patience in waiting for a Sighthound Video build compatible with macOS Big Sur. Unfortunately, we still do not have a compatible build for Apple users; however, our team has been making progress.

Here is where we are:

As previously stated, the Big Sur update has broken Sighthound Video and many other applications based on Python in more ways than we originally anticipated, but it's slowly coming together. Our team currently has Sighthound Video running on Big Sur, but there are bugs that our team is trying to resolve and test before a release.

So what to do?

If you rely on Mac for your security needs, we strongly suggest not upgrading to Big Sur.

What to do if you already upgraded to macOS Big Sur?

If you have updated to macOS Big Sur, you can revert to a previous macOS version or run Sighthound Video on another system (Windows or Mac with older OS). Please note that you will be required to unlink your license to run on another system, requiring you to contact our support staff, support@sighthound.com.

We hope to have further information for you soon!
