Sighthound live video lag time

Hey Guys-

First this software has been excellent except for the point I am about to make. The people detection reduces false alarms SIGNIFICANTLY. Anyway I have noticed that there is between and 8 and 12 second lag time on the live video. I have tried the advanced setting at the lowest in the remote section but the lag time still stays there.

When i direct connect to cameras or use their proprietary software, it's 1-2 seconds max, so I have narrowed it down to Sighthound.

Wondering if there is normal for others or if there is anything else I can do to reduce this. Current plan is to use camera client for live views and Sighthound for everything else. It would however be great to get it all in the Sighthound client.

Hmm made another discovery. The live feed has 1-2 second delay max in the sighthound app IF i don't choose a particular feed (IE on the all cameras view). But when i open that camera, the delay goes up by 7-11 seconds. So something must be going on with the single camera view?

Hi bmw325, did you ever find a solution for this problem? I'm experiencing exactly the same issue. The grid view shows everything in pretty close to real time, but when I select a specific camera there is a feed delay of about 8 seconds. This of course does not occur when accessing the camera feed directly instead of through Sighthound Video. Thanks for any info you can provide!
