Dear Sighthound team,
Would you please be able to post a short-term and a long-term roadmap of features you are working on and what your plans are for your Video Security Software?
I saw your other services, which made me buy a Pro license with the hope that those cloud services would be added to your app. But I’m unfortunately feeling that it was a mistake investing in your software.
I feel that you are not actively developing your app and working on being the best security software out there. All feature requests are replied with a vague answer that you would like to add that in the future etc etc. While your competitors release new versions and features frequently you are not. Your recognition of people gives too many false positives and it cant detect other things.
The possibilities for scripting and automation is very limited, no support for PTZ cameras etc etc etc
Its got to the point where I have seen other users of Sighthound not recommending your software anymore to others and actively suggesting other competitors. So, what are your plans?

We tend not to comment on roadmap until features are finished as frustration from changing priorities or timelines can far outweigh any pros from publishing internal work lists.
We read all feature requests, and while we can't implement or place priority on each one they do guide what we do. Within the past year we've more than doubled the performance of the app, added audio support, and a new grid view among other updates. These were the most requested updates, though of course they may not have been on your personal list and appear less exciting.
Being able to incorporate some of our advanced algorithms whether through cloud integration or locally has been a common request recently and is directly in line with our goals as a company so is very likely something to receive heavy attention in the next version of SV.
