In the rare but exceedingly unfortunate event that the database is corrupted due to an event like disk failure or power loss, some video and event history may no longer be available. If you did not knowingly suffer a power outage or something similar, we highly recommend running a hard drive diagnostic tool and a memory diagnostic tool (such as http://www.memtest.org/).
If you encounter this event you will be presented with the following options at startup:
- Recover - Sighthound will attempt to preserve as much video and tracking data as possible.
- Reset - Camera and rule configurations will be saved and all video and tracking data will be deleted.
- Quit - No action will be taken and Sighthound will close.
