A "magnified" enhancement you can do!

by Semper Vaporo » Sat Dec 25, 2010 5:14 pm

I am running 4 cameras, which show in the thumbnail area to the right of the display with the one selected one in the main view on the left.

I would like larger thumbnails, and as I happen to have a wide computer screen, there is plenty of room for larger ones but the program has no provision (yet) to make them larger.

BUT, Windows 7 has a built-in "Magnifier" app ("All Programs"|"Accessories"|"Ease of Access"|"Magnifier") so I set it to 200% and put its display over the right side of my screen with VDV on the left. The Magnifier overlaps the VDV right side, but shows what is "beneath" it.

With the mouse over the thumbnail area (which is 'under' the magnifier window) I can see thumbnail images in the Magnifier window at 2 times their normal size. Now my 4 camera thumbnails are much nicer for seeing what is happening at a glance.
