Black video

When the software detects anything in the given area, I get an e-mail with a picture in it and a rectangle which triggered the alarm. I also save the video on a FTP-location. Every now and then this video has no content; it is just a black movie. In the past it happened once a week or so, but after moving the camera to another location, about half of the saved video's is black.

I looked in log files, but cannot find a reason for this. Any idea why this is happening?

My configuration:

MacOS 10.13.6
Sighthound Video version 5.1.7
Camera: Digoo IP camera (very cheap one from Wish)

Technical support requests via posts here are hit or miss. Suggest you report the issue through the program (and send logs) or simply email them at support@sighthound.com. Good luck!

If you submit a bug report from within the application such as @tcesario stated we'll be glad to take a look at your logs to look for any errors.
