Re: Sinji Camera

Hi @chielmos, The username and password you should be using to connect the camera to Sighthound Video should be the username and password that are associated with the camera. If you have changed those settings then your best course of action to reset the camera to factory settings and then use the u...

Re: IFTTT Action Service stop or start rule

Hi @Steve and @HITECHTLS,

Because Sighthound Video is self-contained on your system it can only send messages rather than receive. Nobody knows of its existence or would have access even if they did, so it cannot be a target/'that' in ifttt, only a source/'this'.

Take care,

Kenneth

Re: ip camera, firewall help

Hello bryanw20,

Seems like you are interested in port forwarding. You want to search sites like portforward.com and your specific router on that site.

Take care,

I'd recommend using/researching another product that has more resources available; this machine isn't that powerful. I'm sure there are more ...

Re: One iPhone, two locations?

Hi, Each instance of Sighthound Video is independent, and currently, the mobile app will only allow you to view one location at a time while logged in. So with this current solution, you'll have to log in and log out of the mobile app for each instance. However, you may configure one of your Sightho...

Re: How many cameras?

Hey JesseS, Sighthound Video is a multi-process application. You should see five processes + an additional for each enabled camera. Sighthound Video has more than one process. The more CPU intensive processes are the cameras, recording and analyzing the streams. The other processes serve various fun...
