Re: Motion detection expectations?

Hey Steve,

I'm glad that was helpful. And yes, if you purchase a Home license, it is upgradable. You will just pay the difference in the price points. I've alerted my support team to keep an eye out for your requests. We will be standing by for any other questions you might have, thank you!

Re: Motion detection expectations?

Hello Steve, First off, if you need more time to evaluate Sighthound Video, you can write to support@sighthound.com and we can extend your trial period. Secondly, we do have a mid-tier license which seems like that would be a better fit for you. The mid-tier license supports 6 cameras and only costs...

Re: Do I Need to "Force TCP Connection" With Wired ONVIF Cam

Hello,

TCP is always recommended. Although you camera is wired, Sighthound Video is still accessing the video stream and a TCP connection will be more reliable overall. I hope this helps. Please feel free to email support if you have more questions at support@sighthound.com, thank you!

Re: App (iOS) doesn't connect

Hello, I'm sorry to hear that you are not able to connect to the iOS application. Re: H.265

Hello,

We are not going to be adding H.265 support in Sighthound Video version 6. However, we are looking into licensing it. We are hoping to maybe have it in version 7 or 8. We will announce it once we have a better idea of what it will take.

Re: Best cameras for use with Sighthound?

Hello, If you are looking to purchase cameras, we normally recommend Axis(which are a bit expensive) and Hikvision which are the best. Dahua and Ubiquiti would be the next tier in quality. Things to consider when buying new cameras: * You get what you pay for. The lower end tends to be mostly rebran...
